Zimbabwean Conga Drum

Description

As rustic as they come, more for ornamental purposes, this Zimbabwean conga is a reminder of how things used to be & what is achieved with minimal tools. The drum clearly shows the shape of the log it was carved from and skin is attached by using wooden pegs. A warm dull sound can be created after leaving the drum in the hot sun to tension up the skin.
